Legendary vehicles have always inspired artists around the world. With that in mind, I created this original concept art, drawing inspiration from classic automobiles and the imaginative vehicle designs found throughout anime.
Following the inspiration of my favorite vehicle on this list—the Mach 5—the project combines the elegant styling of 1920s and 1930s automobiles with steampunk aesthetics, featuring exposed side exhausts, custom wheels, visible metal details, and a design that could easily belong in an alternate universe filled with inventors and daring racers. It was envisioned as a racing car equipped with multiple special features.
